Who are we?

We are a Florida based company and leader in the introduction and commercialization of new medical devices in Mexico, the Caribbean and South America.

 

Our History

NST was established in 1999 in Mission Viejo-CA by Patricia and David Solorzano. Patricia a Biologist and Researcher from the University of Mexico, had a vision to create an organization that would address nutrition, the scientific knowledge helping us understand its impact on our health, as well as new technologies being developed to improve the way we monitor and analyze your health. David's 25+ years in High Technology as an Hewlett Packard Senior Executive, compliments Pat's vision and brought with him a great deal of financial and operational focus. NST recently moved its main office to Boca Raton, Florida.

 

What is NST's approach to marketing new products?


First and foremost, we are very careful in selecting companies that manufacture Best In Class products. We must also ensure that the products compliment each other and add value to our portfolio of products and solutions.

 


What is Nutritrional Science & Technology's specialty?


As our name implies, we are primarily in the nutrition market and products related to the individual's metabolic rate and body composition. We recognize that several modern deceases are linked directly to metabolic and other nutritional issues. There is increasing awareness that obesity can lead to diabetes, vascular and other chronic illnesses and that hispanics/latinos are at greater risk than other ethnic groups.

 

What is NST's future direction?


We will expand our focus on education by actively promoting, organizing and sponsoring events, conventions and seminars aimed at the Bariatric industry and other Health Professionals. We believe that education is of fundamental importance in addressing some of the nutritional issues affecting the Latin community.

• To support selected international companies by conducting research and validation studies for new products and methodologies.
• To qualify, select and manage the appropriate sales distribution channels consistent with our Partners business/revenue objectives.
• To reduce the risk and expense to companies interested in expanding into Latin America, by providing the most current legal, financial and commercial information available.

Market Research

NST conducts product specific market research including demographics, competitive positioning, costs and pricing, channels of distribution, opportunities and risks, information on regulatory requirements and importation processes, fees, tariffs and taxes.


Marketing

We provide support in the creation of bilingual marketing material. Research and advice on alternative means to provide Warranty and post-Warranty support as applicable.


Sales / Support

NST provides in-country Sales Training and Sales Support.


International

In-Country support for industry exhibits and conferences.


Distribution

Establishment and development of product distribution channel(s).
